The 'Music in the Mountains' free Saturday concerts have moved from the train depot to Riverfront Park. The newly named 'Tunes on the Tuck' location has a large lawn for music-lovers with a covered pavilion for the entertainers. Enjoy sitting at one of the riverside picnic tables, or bring a lawn chair or blanket for the grass. (The Chamber will have $1 lawn chairs for rent.)The whole family will enjoy this relaxed, evening event. We've got local and regional favorites playing everything from old-time country to bluegrass, Celtic, mountain music, beach music, rock and roll and more. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy the local sounds while enjoying the evening in beautiful downtown Bryson City.
Statewide Arts Celebration Events
In all corners of our state, North Carolinians engage in a wide variety of arts experiences – from performances in big concert halls to artist residencies in schools. During our anniversary season, we are shining a spotlight on these creative moments. Events and programs in all 100 counties have been dedicated to the North Carolina Arts Council’s 50th. This is our Statewide Arts Celebration.
